You Need a Digital Tuner

Check your television to see if it has a digital tuner. If it is fairly new, it will have one. If not, you will need to buy a converter box. If you’re not sure, try the following steps without it. Note: If you have other equipment connected to your television such as a digital video recorder, they might also have built-in digital tuners. Check the documentation that comes with your equipment. For instance, I have a Magnavox H2160MW9 A (HDD & DVD Player/Recorder with Digital Tuner) so I can use this to get my channels.
